(I've posted this in "Plugins/Modifications" already so apologies if it looks like I'm spamming. I just couldn't figure out how to move a post from one forum category from another.)

Hey,

I'm using a slightly modified version of the totally awesome wordpress skin Modicus Remix for my website. It's fantastic and I've been enjoying it very much. There is one problem I can't solve though: somehow I can't find a way to show double linebreaks in comments. It works between the first and second paragraph, but any double linebreak after that is being converted into a single one. If a comment looks like this when it's being written:

"Hey there.

I just dropped by to tell you how awesome your wordpress skin is.

No, really.

It's dope!"

…. it will look like this after it's posted:

"Hey there.

I just dropped by to tell you how awesome your wordpress skin is.
No, really.
It's dope!"

This is becoming quite an inconvenience for me as the website is attracting more and more attention. I can't for my life solve it. I've tried googling it but nothing seems to work. If anyone has any ideas I'd be eternally grateful.

Hey there,

The blog looks great! You should be able to do double spacing by simply inserting a blank paragraph: <p>&nbsp;</p> – You can also set the break height to whatever you like in the CSS, or inline in the HTML like: <br style="clear:both;line-height:20px;" />

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks! And thanks for your reply! I've tried to set the line-height for the br attribute already within the CSS but it didn't work.

I solved the issue though by simply formatting the "div.bubble blockquote p" instead. Within it I've set the line-height to 16px (since that's the line-height I use within normal posts) and then I just added a value for margin-top (in this case, 10px). I just need to find and adjust the bottom-margin for the first paragraph now so the first break doesn't appear bigger than the rest of them.

I can't believe I didn't think of that before. Sometimes you stare at  something for so long that you go completely blind.
