I'm interested in purchasing the Personal Press theme, but I had a few questions I'm hoping you'll take the time to answer for me regarding the theme. I used the contact form last week, but haven't heard back, so I thought I would try here.
#1: Is the code in the templates and styles well commented? In other words, do you include comments like "Type styles" or "Layout" so that it's easy for a non-CSS user to customize colors of links, etc.?
#2: Does the theme require ANY mods of the core Wordpress files? If so, is there some sort of note included that would tell me what and where they are?
#3: Are there plugins used on the demo site? If so, are they included with the theme? This would include the "Lightbox" feature found in the Gallery section, Gravatars, etc.
#4: Is a Layered PSD file included with theme?
#5: Can you remove the "Featured Content" slider from single post pages, or is it site-wide? If so, can this be controlled easily from the WP control panel, or does it require "hacking" about the code?
#6: Can you add a category sidebar item, and is it auto-themed?
#7: Can you specify how many of the 468×60 banners show up on the home page, or is it limited to just after the 1st post?
#8: Are the items below each single page post included in the theme as they appear in the demo? (By:, Tags:, RSS, Share, Trackback, Related/Popular/Featured)
I'm not a coding guru, but I'm looking to make the switch to Wordpress from Drupal due to the highly technical nature of Drupal – I've found it virtually impossible to figure out how to customize – where Wordpress appears to be much easier to figure out. I appreciate any answers you can provide.
